The Department of Home Affairs has announced today that people who hold eligible visas and who are fully vaccinated will be able to enter Australia from 1 December 2021 without the need for an entry exemption. Quarantine requirements still apply as per each State or Territory on arrival. The resumption of international travel Australia is part of the third phase of the national reopening plan.
Summary of the requirements:
1.The traveller must be fully vaccinated against COVID -19. The vaccine must be approved or recognized by Australia’s 2.Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)
3.The traveller must hold one of the eligible visa subclasses
4.The traveller must provide proof of their vaccination status
5.The traveller must present a negative COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test taken within three days of departure
