– Gensol gets Rs 520 crore solar project in Maharashtra

New Delhi Gensol Engineering has received an order worth Rs 520 crore to set up a solar power project in Maharashtra. Gensol told the stock market on Friday that the order has been received from a leading power generation unit of the state. The project involves development of a 100 MW AC, 135 MWp ground-mount solar PV power project over 500 acres in Maharashtra with a total order value of Rs 520 crore. Gensol said this involves three years of operational management, including civil and electrical engineering work, obtaining necessary approvals, installation and commissioning of the plant and maintenance of the plant's switchyard and transmission infrastructure. Gensol Engineering is a part of the Gensol group of companies which provides EPC services for the development of solar power plants. The group has also set up an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant in Pune.
